Membership The Arkansas Society of Radiologic Technologists is a state professional organization which was established in 1935. The purpose of this society is to advance the art and science of the therapeutic and imaging professions; to maintain high standards of education; and to enhance the quality of patient care. Types of Membership: Active Members: Must be certified by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. They have the right to vote and hold office in the ArSRT. Associate Members: Those individuals who are or have been employed in the technical, educational, managerial or commercial aspects of Radiologic Technology and do not qualify for active membership. They do not vote or hold office in the ArSRT. Student Members: Students who are enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program deemed acceptable by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. They do not vote or hold office in the ArSRT. Life Members: Members who have rendered unusual service to the Society. They shall have all the privileges and obligations of active members.
